Traveling around Europe, danger signs I always happened to admire the decor and cleanliness of urban areas. I defy anyone to question the perfection almost irritating to cities such as London, Madrid, Berlin ..... ok, actually all the cities that are not Italian ones. However, in my opinion, the analysis of the phenomenon is more complex. It 'hard to eradicate the cliché according to which the people of Palermo are pigs who like to wallow in their own garbage, in spite of everything, today I would like to try. Already in Spain I noticed danger signs with amazement as the citizens of Madrid, Malaga and Barcelona were not so different from us. The Spanish danger signs and dirty ... so dirty, I'm danger signs not just talking about litter on the ground, murals or something. In Bilbao, after a festival, people urinated in mass in a square after a few hours was full of puddles and streams, all seasoned with an unbearable stench. Now, it's probably easier to make a comparison with the Spanish, culturally not so different from us ... but then how is it that the Spanish cities always maintain an impeccable decor? I speak not only of cleaning the streets, danger signs but also green care and maintenance. The answer is simple: the Spanish cities have administrations danger signs that work. In Madrid the ecological danger signs operators were always at work. If you went out at 6:00 in the morning saw them sweep, as well as at 3:00 in the morning and throughout the day. In Spain there is less dirty than here, and there is no civilization that from us ... however the citizens pay taxes like us and in return have a maid service excellent which we do not have. Ok ok, let's be more convincing ... guess' where I took this photo?
This is Edinburgh, the Scottish capital impeccable. I was open-mouthed in front of this scene. In Scotland and Ireland have a system of waste collection door to door. In Ireland, for example piling the bags of garbage out of the door by sticking a stamp, a tax equivalent to the amount of 1 (if it seems dear, I assure you that within a year is much less of our TARSU) . Once a week the service of door to door waste collection takes these bags and recycle them or carry them in landfills as appropriate. The service is very efficient, but aside from the ugly aesthetic impact that leave all these bags piled outside the doors of the house to the streets of Dublin, may be the drawback that an occasional seagull or pigeon decides to Prick the bags for food , scattering all the rubbish on the streets. Another drawback is the weather. It 's true that on one hand the cool prevents this waste stink, but the incessant rain does not help. In short, the concerns have not been few, and the thing that weirded me most is the fact that no steps to the head of least use plastic containers to store these bags.
Equally traumatic danger signs was witness to what they leave on the streets during the Dubliners
