The Austrians do things differently ...... Accordingly, among them the qualifications of KitzRock 2010, in the framework of which the German Boulder Cup began took place on Friday evening. Still a bit tired and exhausted from the week we went to the quality a little more relaxed. In the women's it was called in two hours 6 Boulder to climb, two plates, a jump, a slightly heavy afford Boulder, an intersection and one to "warm hw up". Sarah and get me three of these Boulder in the first attempt, with the remaining hw three we noticed that the level in Austria is substantially hw higher than in Germany! Sarah yet mastered the Boulder and thus secured by the qualification in second place. I were good for the Boulder not quite so, but I reached a temporary 9.Place the semifinals. hw Saturday lunch was it then get out of the sun and into the IsoZone ... but thank God not too long. In Austria, the semifinals will be climbed in interval mode: 4 Boulder and for these 5 minutes each time. This mode was clearly more to me, so I could 2 of the Boulder 1.Versuch and a climb in 2.Versuch. Sarah had unfortunately not quite so lucky and needed a few more attempts to create the Boulder. hw At the end of the semi-finals but was made a really good 7th place for her, with whom she had never expected. And we all agreed: The Boulder were really screwed top and absolutely great to climb! With a 5th place I qualified a complete surprise for the final. Although I have not had a lot of opportunities in the bouldering, I'm glad I was able to try the Boulder. Rarely have I had to solve it as beautiful and varied Boulder! In the end I was able to keep my 5th place and am more than satisfied! Here's a little video from the competition:
